Frigidaire Oven Error Code F20 — Oven Temperature Not Rising
What this means
The F20 error on Frigidaire ovens means the control board expected a temperature rise but the oven temperature sensor shows no significant change. This indicates the heating element is not producing heat even though the control board commanded it to. Causes include a burned-out bake element, a tripped thermal fuse, a wiring issue, or a failed relay on the EOC board.

Open the oven door and look at the bake element (at the bottom of the oven). Turn on Bake at 350°F. The element should glow red within 2 minutes. If it does not glow at all, it has likely burned out.
With the oven empty, you can safely observe the element for a short period. If only part of it glows, the element has a break and needs replacing.
Test the bake element
Turn off the breaker. Disconnect the element wires. Test for continuity — a good element reads 20–50 ohms. An open (infinite) reading means the element is burned out. Also test for ground fault.
Even if the element looks intact, internal breaks can cause it to fail the continuity test.
Check for a hidden bake element
Some Frigidaire ovens have a hidden bake element under the oven floor panel. If you cannot see the element, remove the oven bottom panel to access it.
Hidden bake elements are common in newer Frigidaire convection ovens.
Replace the bake element
Remove the screws securing the element to the oven back wall. Pull the element forward, disconnect the wires, and install the new element. Push the wires back through and reconnect.
Do not use the self-clean cycle for the first use after replacing an element — run a normal bake cycle first.
