Bosch Washing Machine Error Code E32 — Unbalanced Load
What this means
Error E32 means the laundry inside the drum is unevenly distributed, causing excessive vibration during spinning. The washer will attempt to redistribute the load automatically several times. If it cannot balance the load, it stops and displays this code. This commonly happens with single heavy items or mixed loads.
Alternate codes: F32
Step-by-step fix
4 stepsRedistribute the laundry
Open the door and rearrange the items inside the drum. Spread them evenly around the drum rather than bunching them on one side.
Mix large and small items together for better balance.
Reduce load size
If the drum is too full, remove some items. Overloading contributes to balance problems.
The drum should be about three-quarters full for optimal washing.
Check for tangled items
Sheets and large items can wrap around each other, creating a heavy ball on one side of the drum.
Zip up duvet covers and pillowcases to prevent smaller items from getting trapped inside.
Restart the cycle
After redistributing, restart the spin cycle.
When to call a professional
If the error occurs frequently with normal-sized loads, the shock absorbers or suspension springs may be worn and need replacement.
