E27

Bosch Washing Machine Error Code E27 — Low Water Pressure

Easy Fix 10–20 minutes Tools: Pliers, Small brush or toothbrush

What this means

Error E27 indicates the machine is detecting insufficient water pressure from the household supply. This can be caused by partially closed supply valves, kinked inlet hoses, clogged inlet filters, or low municipal water pressure. The washer needs adequate pressure to fill within the expected timeframe.

Alternate codes: F27

Step-by-step fix

4 steps
1

Check the supply valves

Make sure both hot and cold water supply valves behind the washer are fully open.

Turn the handles counterclockwise to open them completely.

2

Inspect inlet hoses

Check both inlet hoses for kinks or tight bends that could restrict water flow.

Ensure the hoses are not crushed against the wall.

3

Clean the inlet filters

Disconnect the hoses from the back of the washer and clean the small mesh filters inside the inlet valve connections.

Use a toothbrush and vinegar to dissolve mineral deposits on the filters.

4

Test water flow

Disconnect a hose and hold it over a bucket, then turn on the valve. If water flow is weak, the issue is with your household plumbing.

When to call a professional

If household water pressure is consistently low, contact a plumber to assess your water supply system.
