The F8 E3 error code indicates the washer tub is overfilling with water beyond the safe level. This can be caused by a stuck-open water inlet valve, a faulty pressure switch that is not detecting the water level, or a siphoning issue from the drain hose. The washer will activate the drain pump to try to lower the water level.

Step-by-step fix
4 stepsTurn off water supply immediately
Shut off both hot and cold water valves behind the washer to stop water from entering. Unplug the washer from the electrical outlet.
If water is actively overflowing, use towels and a wet/dry vacuum to manage the water.
Check the drain hose for siphoning
Ensure the drain hose is looped up and secured above the water level in the tub before going down into the standpipe. Without this loop, water can siphon back into the machine or the tub can be fed by drain water.
The drain hose should be secured at a height of at least 39 inches above the floor.
Test the water inlet valve
Turn on the water supply while the washer is unplugged. If water continues to flow into the tub, the inlet valve is stuck open and must be replaced immediately.

Check the pressure switch
